Fear Free

The goal of Fear Free techniques is to facilitate anxiety reduction in pets during their Hydrotherapy sessions, allowing them to experience less Fearful, Anxiety, and Stress (FAS). From the moment they arrive until it’s time for them to go, we aim to ensure your pet feels content and at ease throughout their rehabilitation.

We adore Treats! To ensure that pets have a fantastic time and enjoy their experience at PawMotion Rehabilitation, we utilize lots of treats and positive reinforcement techniques throughout our sessions. By focusing on anxiety reduction in pets, we implement Fear Free techniques rather than harsh restraint methods. Our approach emphasizes cooperative care, giving your pet the flexibility and choice to receive the rehabilitation that best suits their needs.

Pets with a history of bites, those who have previously shown signs of stress, anxiety, or fear in veterinary settings, or pets that occasionally avoid contact are all encouraged to visit. To promote anxiety reduction in pets and minimize fear and stress, we will employ Fear Free techniques and collaborate with you and your pet to determine the best course of action for effective pet rehabilitation.

We understand that pet visits for rehabilitation can sometimes induce anxiety in pets, making the experience frightening. Often, they need a bit more time to adjust to the new environment and feel comfortable. We approach this with care, employing Fear Free techniques and moving at your pet's pace. To facilitate anxiety reduction in pets, we offer Victory Visits, where they can meet us and explore their surroundings while enjoying plenty of treats, without any treatments involved. These visits are free of charge.
