Laser Therapy

To accelerate the body's natural healing process, laser therapy involves directing infrared radiation into irritated or injured tissues. This effective treatment is not only beneficial for common musculoskeletal problems like arthritis but has also shown positive results in pain relief for pets, making it a great option for pet rehabilitation. When the laser therapy device is applied in direct contact with the skin, light photons can penetrate the tissue, promoting faster recovery.

What will happen to my pet? You should expect your pet to require several sessions of laser therapy in most cases. This laser therapy is non-painful and only produces a light-warming sensation, providing effective pain relief for pets. The head of the laser machine is held directly over the area to be treated for the scheduled treatment duration, usually 3-10 minutes. There are no known side effects of laser therapy, and many pets find this treatment quite relaxing, making it an excellent option for pet rehabilitation!
